Summer is here! We are looking forward to Seminary Graduation, Father & Son Camp, AP Camp and Pioneer Trek! In this newsletter you will find information for summer event registrations & info. We also have released the August Temple Trip Signups and have information regarding the new “Stake Youth Council” program!

JUNE 2ND – 3RD | FATHER & SON CAMPOUT >
Hope to see you this Friday! Camp will be held at the Antelope Lake Long Point Campgrounds in group sites A & B. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday morning. You are responsible to bring any other meals for yourself. Feel free to arrive on Friday late afternoon or evening. – Devin Duerksen

Just around the corner! We have 27 youth attending Trek this year and things are in the works!
Here are some quick reminders:
• You can find the packing list online!
• Don’t forget to bring a 5-gallon bucket with your items. If you would still like a lid for your bucket with a pad so it can be used as a seat, contact Christina Andersen. We have some left!
• Hopefully you have having luck getting together some fun pioneer clothing to wear on Trek. Check out the Trek Photo Gallery for ideas of what to wear. If anyone has any good pioneer clothing items to donate or if you are struggling to find, make or purchasing clothing, contact Christina Andersen and we will see what we can do to help.

NEW “STAKE YOUTH COUNCIL” OPPORTUNITY…
At the last Stake Youth Fireside we introduced the youth to a new program that will start in the fall. You can now find all the information online about the new program we introduced for the youth on the Teams Page.
All youth in the Quincy California Stake turning 12+ in 2023 have the opportunity to apply for a position on one of three Youth Battalion Teams! These teams will run during each school year from August – May. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, use your creativity, plan and carry out large memorable events and most importantly be part of the greatest work taking place on earth today… gathering Israel.

*These Youth Battalion Teams will replace what was previously known as “Stake Youth Council”. Please join us for our next Stake Youth Baptism Temple Trip! All youth and adults who plan to attend, please sign up for your session time at one of the links above. We had a great experience at the last Temple Trip, this sign up system seemed to work really well and allowed families to choose the time that would work best for them that day. Please invite all the youth you know, offer to take them, attend with them or help them sign up! 16 youth are allowed to participate in baptisms at each session. If these sessions fill up quickly, we will try to add another session.
NOTE: There is also a Regional Youth Reno Dance the evening of this Temple Trip Day…
